His dream is to bring the genuine and traditional Sicilian taste on the tables of all over the world through a niche product: the “Ciappa ri pummaroru” (Ciappa tomato).
He succeeds in fulfilling his aim thanks to the love and the support his family always gives him, together with the precise and accurate contribution of his working team.
Agriblea is proud to produce a traditional agroindustrial product which has been officially recognized by the Sicilian Government, since 2003, by means of a regional decree published on the Ordinary Supplement n° 141 enclosed to the Official Gazette n° 200 dated 29/08/2003:
the “Ciappa ri pummaroru” (dried tomatoes), that is to say a sun dried half oval or round or cherry tomato.
The strongness of the firm relies on the process it follows while producing a niche item: the particularly helping conditions of the climate and the environment as well, which are typical of the south-east part of Sicily, together with the use of organic farming procedures exalt the own organoleptic properties of the product itself.
